- New members are welcome. Call 410-795-9463 for more information.
- We now have formed a 501(c)(3) corporation named Taylorsville-Winfield Lions Charities Inc. This new corporation means any contributions made are now 100% tax deductible.
- We are selling small "Beanie Bears" to raise funds for Diabetes Research. The cost of these bears is only $5.00 each. To purchase a bear call Lion Tom Harney on 410-875-9445
- Our Spring Basket Bingo is tentatively scheduled for April 5, 2008. It will be held at Winfield Volunteer Fire Hall. Tickets can be purchased by contacting any of the club members.

- Hospital Equipment to borrow for free. To borrow equipment: call Lion Les Arndt on 410-795-9463 or Lion Bob Garber on 410-875-2630.
- Collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids. Drop off locations are the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home in Winfield, Green's Ace Hardware in Winfield, Golden Age Nursing Home On Buckhorn Rd, Sykesville Federal Savings Bank in Eldersburg and Martins Beauty Shop on Oklahoma Rd. Also Dr. Kurt Linkoff, DDS in Eldersburg.
- Own and maintain a Community Park.
- Provide One Year Scholarships to Century and South Carroll High School Students.
- Provide eye exams and glasses to those who cannot afford them.
- Pay for all of the oxygen used by the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department
- Provide Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Dinner and Christmas Gifts for families in Need as well as support to the local communitee.
- A collection bin for the Shephards Staff will be kept at out meeting hall. Donations go toward their blessings closet
